This map opens to 24" x 25" and has great detail on old road alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company, Convent Station, New Jersey. There are inset plans of Monterrey, Chihuahua, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara, Puebla, San Luis Potosi, Taxco, and the Mexico City area.
The front cover artwork depicts the cathedral in Mexico City. Built between 1573 and 1667, this majestic structure stands on the site of the an ancient Aztec temple.
The map was distributed by the Humble Oil & Refining Company of Houston, Texas, and it is copyrighted MCMLX (1960). The code numbers in the lower margin are 1A and W260-A6.
