PEDDLER DOLL WITH FILLED SALES BASKET Vintage Handmade One of A Kind Folk Doll
Peddler Woman Doll with a Apple Head, has an open mouth with inset teeth. Wears Granny Glasses. Doll's hands & shoes/feet are ceramic and body is cloth.
Doll stands 13 inches tall (stand included with doll). Fully dressed in long black & white check dress, with a white collar & apron, both feature hand red embroidery decoration. Collar has black bead buttons. Doll's costume is completed with a black bonnet, white lace trimmed head cap and red black lined cape.
Best of all she carries a vintage open wicker basket supported from her shoulders with wicker straps. The basket has 52 vintage sales items which are displayed inside the basket, in the lid and hanging from the front. The sales items are all miniature many hand made. Items include household items, a box of cigars, cans of food, high button shoes, plates, wooden kitchen items, a mop, broom, dust pan, coffee pot, iron, a checker set with playing pieces and many other items. Items are made of varies materials wood, straw, metal, paper and more. Basket even has a Lady Bug sitting on it for luck.
